CRUISE32C is
developed with 32 bit technology for the best performance with
new Microsoft operating systems.
CRUISE32C supports C-MAP NT+/PC,
C-MAP NT+ (drive C-CARD USB that allow using plotter cartridge
too) cartography.
CRUISE32C is the basic package of
SailWare line and is mainly intended for powerboaters. It offers
much more than a normal plotter providing the navigator with
simple and real time information, boat position, track and tools
for checking and recalculating plans rapidly
At a glance, on the main screen,
SailWare CRUISE32C provides the user with a highly detailed view
of the navigating area, while the boat marker continually shows
the position - either from GPS or dead reckoned. Heading, boat
speed, depth and whatever variable available from the instrument
system can be represented both on digital readouts or analogue
indicators.
SailWare CRUISE32C allows easy
and safe route planning: enter waypoints just using simple mouse
clicks and the program will immediately construct a route,
computing bearings, distances and estimated time to arrival. A
powerful "Tools Box" enables the user to personalise any chart
to mark favoured anchorage, dive sites, route plans, etc. or
include updated notices. Overlay data are totally independent
from the chart displayed: as the user changes charts or zoom
level, the data remain in the
correct position. Data are automatically written to a log file
on the computer harddisk for later replay or review. Easy and
intuitive user interface allows to customise the system in order
meet user preferences as language, measure units, chart colour

enhanced version of SailWare CRUISES32C.
SailWare, thanks to the
collaboration of experienced racing sailors, has developed an
highly sophisticated package that helps crews in planning
tactics, sail trimming and improving boat performance, as it is
capable of producing complex solutions at a glance, based on
previous vessel performance and weather data.
SailWare RACE32C provides polar
tables as well as graphic displays of the best range of use of
the sails, helping the tactician to find cross-over conditions
and call for sail change.
Polars, i.e. boat speeds that may
be achieved for a given true wind speed and direction in
specific sea conditions, are used for several purposes: by
comparing the boat's speed with its target speed, the crew can
quickly know if they are getting the best out of the boat at any
time; also, to perform any kind of predictive navigation
calculations, such as the course to steer on a given leg.
Although polars can be derived by calculation from design
drawings, or by scaling the polars from a similar boat, the
results are unlikely to be sufficiently accurate. The only way
to get accurate polars is to invest the time and effort needed
to build them over the entire range of wind conditions; this
task is made much easier with the extensive polar table
manipulation facilities built into SailWare RACE32C.
SailWare racing version is also
capable of updating polar tables automatically.
SailWare RACE32C sets up
calibration values for the instruments. The program will carry
out all the necessary calculations for calibrating the log and
the mast-head unit offset; it will also calculate the correction
to be made to the wind speed and angle for heel and upwash.
These corrections are of greater precision than those provided
in sailing instruments.
SailWare RACE32C provides also a
graphical display of the sailing area with the destination mark
at the top of the screen and the boat at the bottom.

FISH32N supports NAVIONICS GOLD

Last born inside the Fishware
line and specially designed for the professional fishermen,
FISH32C has been developed on the experience of more than 200
FISH packages already sold and following suggestions from
deep-sea fishermen.
User interface has been
completely redrawn in order to make much more easier and
friendly the use of the package. All the essential navigation
functions can be quickly accessed selecting the relevant buttons
on the tool bar.
Two lines, one horizontal and one
vertical, indicate the mouse cursor position on the chart.
The menu bar, as well as the
scroll bars can be hidden, thus leaving a bigger screen area for
displaying the chart.
Managing routes and tracks is now
simple and comprehensive: user can set a new route even when
navigating, starting from the current route. The Go To function
allows to create a quick route with a simple click of the mouse
on the chart displayed.
Real time vessel position is
displayed on the screen and the track can be overlaid on the
chart with different colours representing different values of
trawling speed and depth.
Speed and depth can be also
viewed as graph-plots which can be superimposed to the main
FISH32C screen.
Use can enter fishing areas (with
different shapes) and associate names, colours and alarm
conditions to each of them.
Storing markers now is as easy as
clicking a keyboard key as the user can associate each single
function key of the computer to a different type of event.
User can set up to four targets
and FISH32 will display real time range and bearing from the
vessel position on a floating panel.
The heading vector is now
displayed with a line - separated from the one indicating the
C.O.G. - whose length is adjusted according to the speed of the
vessel.
The software can manage up to 10
serial ports, merging together data coming from different
instruments; for each communication port, user can select the
set of data he wants to read as well as the data he wants to
send to external instruments such as autopilots.
Vocal messages - user defined -
can be associated to any data when setting an alarm condition.

Meteo
This module allows the user to
access major meteorological information supplied by an external
source as GRIB files. The METEO module can be added to any SW&N
package (both SailWare and FishWare lines) with the exception of
SailWare.
Auto Routing
Aimed mainly at sailors – it is an
obvious add on for the METEO package, as the access to the
complete meteorological information provided by such packages
together with the boat's polar curves offer a strategic passage
simulation service enabling navigators to faster and more
precise routing. The ROUTAGE add on can be combined with
SailWare CRUISE "S" or RACE (providing the METEO add on is
already installed).
Palm Connect
It allows bi-directional wireless
BLUETOOTH connection between PC and a PDA with SailPalm software
(ver. 2.0 or sup.). It allows information exchange like
instrument data, markers, alarms, active waypoint, M.O.B., etc.
