AIS Receiver

|
With AIS integrated into a
PC with Nobeltec Admiral, mariners can make safer and more prudent
navigation decisions in less time. Nobeltec Admiral intelligently
displays the many outputs of an AIS system in an easy to interpret
display. Vessels equipped with AIS are consistently outputting
crucial information like their location and overall length with
differential GPS accuracy. Additionally, the vessel name, course and
speed, destination, call sign, registration number, and other
information are “broadcast”. From a navigation safety standpoint,
AIS also provides the closest point of approach (CPA) and time to
closest point of approach (TCPA) from your vessel. Another key
feature is viewing targets. As opposed to only utilizing a small
display for AIS data found on other models, Nobeltec Admiral with
AIS is only limited by the size of your computer screen. |
Heading Sensor |
The Nobeltec Heading Sensor
outputs a NMEA heading sentence (HDM) at 10Hz [10 times per second]
to a tenth of a degree of resolution i.e. 310.3 degrees. It is
designed for both Power and Sail applications and operates up to a
30° heel (Angle of the boat). It is the perfect fluxgate compass to
provide heading data for MARPA/ARPA targeting including ARPA support
in Admiral, MARPA in Admiral with Radar and heading for VNS with
Radar. For vessels traveling at less than 10 knots it will
stabilize the chart and provide almost instantaneous responses to
changes in heading. A superb value!! |
|
GPS Receiver |
Utilizing advanced WAAS
technology developed for the aviation industry, the new 18-channel
Nobeltec GPS receiver adds unprecedented positioning accuracy to
your existing electronics. Best of all, it can be mounted next to
other onboard electronics without signal interference. The Nobeltec
GPS is easy to install and and provides plug and play access with
Nobeltec Navigation Software. |
|
USB to Serial |
Nobeltec USB adapters
provide you with the ability to connect one or multiple RS-232
serial ports into a single USB port. Nobeltec serial interface
adapters support standard PC data rates up to 460K bps to provide
you with the horsepower your serial I/O applications require.
Available Single, Two or
Four Serial Port to USB Versions |

Opto-Isolator
 |
The Nobeltec Opto-Isolator
and Data Indicator is an effective tool that all Nobeltec Visual
Series owners should have on each COM port. This tiny device
protects the computer from on board electrical spikes and surges as
well as converting NMEA RS-422 signals to RS-232. What's more, the
LED display lights show power and data flow between the COM port and
the GPS to ensure that your GPS and other connections are made
securely. This device also helps reduce the "crazy mouse" problem
with Windows XP and 2000. The Opto-Isolator is compatible with most
NMEA GPS’s, Radars, Heading Sensors, and other NMEA instruments |
RF Keyboard |
The RF
Mouse/Keyboard combination is an essential item for your onboard
navigation program. With the RF Mouse/Keyboard combo you gain the
flexibility to move around the vessel to any location without the
restriction of wiring. The RF base connects into your USB port and
is plug and play compatible within different Windows environments.
This module being very small makes it easy to hide keeping your Nav
station free of unwanted equipment. Both the mouse and keyboard
offer 100 feet of wireless freedom. |
